The breakfast was a highlight, featuring a delightful selection of fresh fruit, cereals, and a full English cooked to perfection! The warmth and attentiveness of the hosts made the experience truly memorable.

Though the room was charming, the steep stairs could pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. the inconsistent water pressure in the shower was a minor letdown during my stay.

I encountered some significant issues during my stay. The limited parking availability was frustrating, forcing me to search for nearby spaces often. the steep stairs to access my room felt cumbersome, especially after a long day of exploring.

Parking could be a nightmare during peak times!!! Steep stairs to upper rooms were cumbersome for older guests or those with mobility issues!!! Shower space was a bit cramped for comfort!!!

Perfect for a comfortable getaway

From the second we arrived, Gary and Carol treated us like family! They made us tea and explained everything about the room and the place, those little touches matter.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but honestly it was still reasonable for what you get.

The central location made it super easy to stroll around, with peasholm park just a few minutes away and the lovely north bay railway also within a pleasant walk from the guesthouse. the wonderful hosts ensured we felt right at home right from check-in, making us want to return on our next visit to scarborough.

Strong community feel

The room was really nice and clean, with lovely fixtures. It had a fan, which was a lifesaver during the warmer days. The beds were super comfy and provided a great night's sleep. I also loved the personal touches, like the plentiful tea and coffee supplies. The biscuits. Definitely made me feel at home!

Perfect fit for a mini-break over the weekend in Scarborough with very good value for money. They even gave us a pool ball keyring, which was a nice touch. Check nearby parking options, as you might find good spaces around.

Wi-fi was fast, and the flat-screen TV was great. Parking was limited.

Hermosa Guesthouse provided exceptional service during my stay. Upon arrival, I was welcomed warmly and upgraded to a double room, which was a pleasant surprise. The fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge demonstrated a thoughtful attention to detail.

Wonderful hosts who ensured our comfort while providing insightful tips about the area. Our room was modern and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast lived up to expectations, featuring a variety of options to cater to many tastes. A charming stay overall!
